Gator Skins should be washed in cold or warm water normally. They should be hung to dry or run through an air dry cycle in the dryer. Gator skins can be dried in a hot dryer, but due to its unique knitted properties the shirts fibers will tighten up. A quick fluffing of the shirt will bring it back to normal size. GATOR SKINS WILL NOT SHRINK.

Top Notch product April 27, 2010
Reviewer: P Dorigatti from Rock Springs, WY United States
First off I want to give a shout out to Mike..Had a shipping snafu and Mike was all over it and very  much a gentleman and we got it resloved..Second the DAY after me and my wife recieved our sets we got to test them..We had rain AND snow and high 40 degree temps here in Wyoming... for the fun of it haha ..We went out for a short ride with just our shirts on top and levis and pants on bottom..At 48 degrees we rode in a light drizzel of snow/rain mix for about 20 mins..The shirts are DEFINETLY water repelant as neither of us got wet under the shirts and they are VERY warm we could have used a jacket due just to wind chill but for just using the shirts we were warm and dry..I will give Gatorskins a 12 Star rating if that was a choice..GREAT investment and worth every penny I recommend them to ANYONE who rides..PERIOD...Top notch people and product Mike ..GREAT JOB

Complete set of Skins March 8, 2009
Reviewer: Dean from Yreka, CA United States
I just received my Skins, pants, tops, Glove liners and neck. I am a fair weather rider and don't go out if it gets down around 50 degrees. Today it was around 38 so I figured this would be a good test. I dressed in a T-shirt sweatshirt, jeans, light chaps and my leather jacket, and of course the complete set of Skins. Normally at this temp. I may get a mile or so. Today I did about 30 miles. I was very comfortable except for my finger tips, which would not have made it much further. Had it not been for my fingers I don't know how far I could have gone. I may need to break down and buy a pair of electric gloves if I'm going to do much more cold weather riding. I am very happy with the Skins and would highly recommend them. Do you plan on getting them in socks?

Thanks,
Dean
